Life Members

We are pleased to announce Paul McGarva and Alan McLean have joined Clive Fail, Mark Lord and Anita Lord as Life Members of Mountainbike Tauranga. 

Clive was one of the founding fathers of Oropi and used to run the PD Gangs there back in the day. His commitment to the club over the years is to be commended and still to this day his generous, hard working nature never goes unnoticed. 

Mark and Anita were the club for many years, being on the committee and running Monday night racing. Their three children came through the club. Their continuous support has seen the club grow massively in size.

Paul McGarva and Alan McLean have looked after the Oropi Trail network for many years bestowing Life Membership on them is negligible compared to what they have put into the Club and still are.

All are absolute legends, epitomising mountain biking and club life!
