What does it cost? $40 adult, $25 Juniors 17 and under, $60 family.
What is a family? Well the cost of one adult plus one junior $40+$25= $60. A “family” is two adults and two 17 or under included. So a family membership effectively gives one free adult and one free junior. But what if my family has more kids and more adults? No problem the extras are charged at normal individual rate, but you still have one free adult and one free junior. If you have three juniors and one adult it won’t fit the standard template but do get in touch and we will help.
Can I buy a day pass? Yes, and at similar price to other parks one day passes, you can buy a 3 day pass and ride up to three days in a row. $20 adult, $15 junior, $35 family of 2 adults, 2 juniors (17yrs and under). So, if someone has a tanty or the weather is bad you have some flexibility and aren’t forced to ride on one particular day.
What happens in Bike Month? The club offers a free month of membership in bike month to get you started as a membership promotion to try it out.
What is hivepass? It is a mobile app from which you can manage membership, subscription, renewal, club member discounts and club membership card etc. Is Hivepass app on a mobile device compulsory? Yes and No; you can join with a computer on hivepass as well as using hivepass app on a mobile device. Both are the same thing, so using your computer means you don’t also need a device too.
My kids are too young to have an email address or mobile device, what do I do? You can join them using a piggyback account with no email or you can use an alias email addresses that still all go to a parent/guardian for example [email protected] can provide a unique email address for each child account but all emails still go to the parent. As the junior grows we can assist changing this email if you want to have them to receive their own emails.
I have an adult membership, I want to switch it to family, (or vice versa) can I do this? Yes you can, hivepass will convert remaining $$ left in your membership pro-rata to family rate; adjusting your next expiry to suit with no money to pay now, but family expiry will come up sooner accordingly. However if you have a subscription that automatically renews your membership each year this has to be turned off first in order to switch to family. Get in touch for us to assist.
I want to race in the summer series, how do I do it? Well, first you should join as a member, it is only open to members. Then you can register for Monday night racing $66 for the whole series typically 12 race nights over daylight saving with some gaps for public holidays, Xmas, etc.
I’ve changed my email address, what do I do? I’ve accidentally created a second account with my new email address, what do I do? Answer: get in touch we can fix all these kinds of snafu.
I’ve got my own email address now but the family is full and the family joining code doesn’t work. We’ll probably need to delete a ‘piggyback-you’ account in the family membership to make room for the ‘new-you’.
Dogs!? Dogs are welcome at Oropi Grove Bike Park (currently closed for logging), please pick up droppings! We’re dog people too, but we’re sorry dogs are not permitted at Summerhill mtb park. Summerhill is a working farm and farmer decides.
